Brian Teel

Brian Teel has been actively playing music in bands for over 20 years. Starting off at age 6 as a pianist, he moved to guitar at age 12, and shortly after, the bass guitar. Brian studied music at Los Angeles Musicians Institute, and has an Associates degree in Recording Arts from Mira Costa College, and a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts from San Diego State University. He has long been a part of the San Diego music scene, having played all types of music ranging from Funk, R&B, Soul, Rock, and Reggae. Brian has had the honor of performing with such groups as Skanic, The Revelations, Plump, Daddy Longleggs, The Dealers, Latanya Lockett, Cartel, T-irie Dread, His Majesty KIng G, Zbonics, The Joey Bowen Band, The PHD's, The Hip, Shazam, The 2nd Coming, Los Macanudos, Ishmael and the Peacemakers, Ill Logic, and Los Angeles' Backbone(now called Whitestar). He can currently be seen playing guitar and keyboards with both The Devastators and Elijah Emanuel & The Revelations, bass guitar with Quinazo, and keys with Big Mountain.
When not on stage or behind an instrument Brian can often be found working as producer/engineer in his 24track analog/32 track digital recording studio. An extension of the studio is 4 Track Mind Productions, Brian's production company specializing in songwriting, arranging, recording, and music production. 4 Track Mind Productions and Z Bonics recently won the Remix contest for Speech from Arrested Develepment!!! The Remix was for the song Esmeralda and can be heard by following the link below.
